    I bet everyone was wondering how long it would take before I found a set of knuckles with KNUCKLES written on it. This is Will Ellis, a tattoo artist at A Million Tattoos and Piercing here in Austin, TX. Aside from the awesome knuckles, he was the artist that tattooed LOVE COCK.   • HOMEWARD – DAMN FOOL

    These hands belong to Tom Y. He got HOMEWARD because he is always the first one to go home or leave the party. He also doubled up and got:

    The story goes like this. He and his friends were sitting out side of the tattoo shop talking about what they would get on their second set of knuckles when some girls walked by and said “You guys are some damn fools”. So he went in and got them done.

  • PATIENCE

    These knuckles come via Adam S., tattooist. He says that PATIENCE is a good value to have and that you can’t rush through life.

  • KAAPSTAD

    These are the hands of Shaun the African. Kaapstad means Cape Town in Afrikaans. He is a travelling tattoo artist who was born in Cape Town. He has been in the United States for six years now and travels the US in an RV. I met him at the Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival.

  • SCOTLAND

    These knuckle tattoos were sent to me by a certain Mr. Dirt Reynolds of the West Virginia hillbilly rock band The Pistol Whippers. He says “These are my tribute to both sides of my family who are Scottish.”

  • VIRTUOUS

    Also from the Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival. This is Mike R. former member of the United States Navy. He got VIRTUOUS done for reasons of his own,� I don’t think that I’ve seen a pair of hands that more represented someone. Mike seemed like a hell of a stand up guy.

    These knuckles come to us via Killick H. in Athens, GA. Here is his story:

    Font geeks’ll notice the American Typewriter font. The ‘j’ is formed by a rope that spills from my hand. The story behind the word readjust has a few layers. I’m a musician interested in issues of transformation, and being more of the moment. Readjust is a gentle reminder for me to adapt and be flexible, be like water. Broken up, it’s also read and just. The ‘read’ works for me since I’m definitely a word stickler and actually have made a living reading English language proficiency test papers for the state of Georgia. The ‘just’ ties in with my wife’s social justice vocation and my belief in unqualified human rights for all. And, switched around, it’s ‘just read’, never a bad thing.

  • COLORADO

    Hey y’all, Nate and his roommate Laura have been trying to get a hold of me for a while. Here is what Nate has to say:

    So my name is Nate and obviously I live in Colorado. I am a native and I love my state for the outdoors- mountains, woods and lakes and just enjoyment in general. I am the head of security at a local live music venue and have worked for such bands as Soulfly, In Flames, Bury Your Dead, Killswitch Engage, The Reverend Horton Heat, and the list goes on!! I am the proud owner of 11 other tattoos and not gonna stop there!
